Lortone Model 3A Belt
Replacing the belt on a Lortone Model 3A tumbler is an easy job. Just use a screwdriver to open the case, loosen the two screws that
hold the motor to the case, stretch the belt over the two pulleys, move the motor until the belt is snug on the pulleys, tighten the motor-mounting screws and close the case. Congratulations! |

Lortone bearings are easy to replace. First remove the belt. Then remove the retaining ring from the end of the drive shaft, push the shaft into the case, pull out the old bearing, slide in the new bearing, reassemble, repeat for each bearing. |

Thumler's Tumblers Bearings:
Thumler's bearings are simple to replace. Just remove the retainer clip
from the end of the shaft, remove the old bearing, slide on a new bearing
and replace the retainer clip. We suggest purchasing some extra retainer
clips just in case you damage one while taking it off or putting it on.

Thumler's Barrel Guides:
Thumler's tumbler barrel guides are simple to replace. Just remove the retainer clip
from the end of the shaft, remove the bearing and guide, slide on a new guide and replace the bearing and retainer clips. We suggest purchasing some extra retainer

Thumler's Tumbler Nylon Roller:
After years of use the nylon rollers on the idler shaft my wear down and
need to be replaced. We offer a set of two rollers for the AR-1 and AR-6
tumblers and a set of three rollers for the AR-2 and AR-12 tumblers.
Roller replacement is simple just remove the old rollers from the idler
shaft and slide the new rollers into their place. |

Thumler's Rubber Roller:
These rubber rollers for the drive shaft are what give the barrel traction and keep
it turning to tumble the rocks inside. Replace worn rollers for optimum tumbling action. A set of two rubber
rollers is needed for the AR-1 and AR-6 tumblers while a set of three
rollers is needed for the AR-2 and AR-12 tumblers.

to hold the nylon rollers in the proper location on the idler shaft.
