More information about Citrine Quartz
Citrine Quartz is a very popular semiprecious stone. Transparent Citrine is often faceted and used in
rings, earrings and pendants. Less transparent to translucent stones are often cut into
cabochons, beads or tumble-polished like the stones we sell here. These can be used in necklaces, earrings,
bracelets or othrer jewelry items.
Citrine Quartz is designated as a November birthstone
and is also traditional gift on a 13-year anniversary. Citrine Quartz is produced at many locations worldwide.
Much of the gemstone-quality material produced today is from Uruguay, Brazil, Spain and Madagascar.
