Lortone Model 33B Rock Tumbler
The Lortone Model 33B tumbler is almost identical to the Model 3A tumbler - except
that it turns two three-pound barrels instead of one. This allows you to tumble
twice as much rock or tumble two loads separately.
Why tumble two loads separately? Maybe you have materials of different hardness,
or two loads on different steps of the tumbling process. Or, maybe you have two
kids who would each like to have his/her own barrel.
This tumbler is durable and will last through years of regular use. It has a metal
frame, maintenance-free motor and heavy-duty rubber barrels. Each barrel will process
about two pounds of rock.
The tumbler is supplied with an instruction book that will guide you through tumbling your first
batch of rock. You will also receive an email address that you can use to ask any questions
that arise as you begin tumbling. We want you to enjoy this hobby as much as we do.

For Best Polishing Results:
If you are really serious about getting a high quality polish we recommend getting a separate barrel and using it exclusively for the polishing step. A dedicated barrel for polish (and a thorough cleaning of your rocks after the 600 grit step) will help avoid grit contamination of your polishing step. |
