Quartz is the most abundant mineral species in Earth's crust and white quartz is almost ubiquitous in its occurrence. It is surprising that such a common material - that polishes exceptionally well is rarely seen as a tumbled stone.
This tumbled quartz has taken an exceptional polish and has a whiteness and brightness that is so intense that dealers refer to it as "snow quartz". It deserves the name. It is also very hard (seven on the Mohs scale) and very durable as it has no cleavage.
For sale are beautifully polished White Quartz gemstones. These tumbled stones are sold in 4 ounce
(113 gram), 8 ounce (226 gram) and one pound (453 gram) bags. Your stones will be similar in size, shape and color to
the stones pictured above. They are perfect for a variety of jewelry and craft projects - or simply to admire.
The snow white color of these quartz tumbles make them perfect for contrast stones in a variety of craft, jewelry and ornamental projects. Imagine mixing them with an opaque stone such as red jasper, a translucent stone like carnelian, or a transparent stone such as lilac amethyst! You are only limited by your imagination!
