Aventurine is a form of translucent quartz that contains inclusions of platy minerals such as muscovite mica,
hematite or goethite. These inclusions interact with light that enters the stone and gives the stone a glistening
appearance known as "aventurescence".
For sale are beautifully polished Green Aventurine gemstones with a slight aventurescence. These light green tumbled stones are sold in 4 ounce (113 gram),
8 ounce (226 gram) and one pound (453 gram) bags. Your stones will be similar in size, shape and color to the stones pictured above. They are perfect
