Blue Lace Agate is the name given to a chalcedony that has thin bands of
bluish-white agate delicately layered between thin bands of transparent to
translucent agate. The bands feature complex curves and other patterns that
resemble a lace-embroidered fabric - thus the name - "Blue Lace Agate".
For sale here are beautifully polished Blue Lace Agate gemstones. These tumbled stones
are sold in 4 ounce (113 gram), 8 ounce (226 gram) and one pound (453 gram) bags. Your stones
will be similar in size, shape and color to the stones pictured above. They are perfect

Blue Lace Agate is a very popular gemstone. It is often tumble-polished or
cut into cabochon-shaped gemstones. Beads and cabochons of Blue Lace Agate

South Africa has been a very important source of Blue Lace Agate but some of the finest
